UMPSA tawar 44 program Ijazah Sarjana Muda dan 8 diploma dalam pelbagai bidang keperluan industri

 

KUANTAN, 23 Februari 2025 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) menawarkan 44 program Ijazah Sarjana Muda dan lapan program diploma kepada para pelajar dalam pelbagai bidang untuk keperluan industri. 

Program pengajian ini merangkumi bidang Kejuruteraan, Teknologi Kejuruteraan, Pengurusan, Sains Gunaan dan Komputeran. 

Justeru, para pelajar boleh mendapatkan maklumat pengajian UMPSA dalam siri jelajah program Jom Masuk U 2025 (JMU 2025) yang memulakan siri di Zon Timur I yang menyaksikan Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) Kampus Kuantan sebagai destinasi pertama yang diadakan baru-baru ini. 

Program jerayawara pendidikan tinggi ini akan menjelajah ke sepuluh zon seluruh negara dan akan berakhir pada 18 Mei 2025. 

Menurut Naib Canselor UMPSA, Profesor Dr. Yatimah Alias, program Jom Masuk U merupakan acara tahunan dan inisiatif Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (KPT) bagi memberi peluang serta pendedahan kepada para pelajar berkenaan maklumat kemasukan ke Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (IPT).

"UMPSA juga akan turut serta dalam siri jelajah Jom Masuk U ini ke seluruh Malaysia bagi memberi pendedahan dan membimbing bakal pelajar memilih kursus yang bersesuaian terutamanya bagi pemohon UPUOnline®️ Sesi Akademik 2025/2026," ujarnya.

Beliau turut menasihatkan para pelajar, ibu bapa, penjaga, guru, kaunselor dan orang awam untuk tidak melepaskan peluang mendapatkan informasi dan penasihatan akademik agar pelajar mendapat maklumat yang tepat sebelum memilih bidang pengajian kelak. 
 
Sementara itu, Timbalan Naib Canselor (Hal Ehwal Akademik dan Antarabangsa), Profesor Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman berkata, UMPSA turut berbangga apabila dapat menemui sendiri keluarga pelajar yang berminat untuk mengikuti program pengajian yang ditawarkan UMPSA khususnya program ijazah dual. 
 
“Terdapat 11 program ijazah dual yang ditawarkan di UMPSA buat masa ini yang memberi manfaat kepada pelajar termasuklah anugerah ijazah dual dari dua institusi pendidikan (UMPSA dan rakan kerjasama), pendidikan holistik berorientasikan praktikal dan pengiktirafan oleh badan akreditasi Malaysia dan antarabangsa.

“Program ijazah dual ini merupakan program kerjasama dengan rakan strategik Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA), Jerman, Mannheim University of Applied Sciences (HMA), Jerman, Tianjian University dan Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), China, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), Kazakhstan dan yang terkini dengan Hanyang University Erica Campus, Korea Selatan,” katanya.

Majlis Perasmian Jom Masuk U 2025 Zon Timur I di UniUIAM Kampus Kuantan baru-baru ini telah disempurnakan oleh Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Panglima Perang Pahang, Leftenan Tengku Ahmad Ismail Mu’adzam Shah ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah mewakili Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tuanku Ampuan Pahang.

Baginda turut berkenan mencemar duli melawat reruai pameran UMPSA dan beramah mesra dengan para petugas. 

Hadir sama Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pelaburan, Perindustrian, Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi Negeri Pahang mewakili Yang Amat Berhormat Menteri Besar Pahang, Yang Berhormat Dato' Mohamad Nizar Dato' Sri Mohamad Najib dan Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Akademik dan Penyelidikan) Jabatan Pendidikan Tinggi, Profesor Dr. Zainal Amin Ayub. 

Pelbagai aktiviti menarik turut ditawarkan sepanjang JMU 2025 berlangsung antaranya pameran, sesi konsultasi UPUOnline®️, konsultasi penajaan/ biasiswa/ pinjaman dan bantuan kewangan pendidikan tinggi, terjah reruai IPTA, cabutan bertuah, campus tour, persembahan pelajar, aktiviti bersama alumni, ruang interaktif, aktiviti keusahawan dan lain-lain.

Develop Your First IoT System: Hands-on Training Workshop by AIT, UMPSA
October 4-5, 2024

The Centre for Advanced Industrial Technology Research and Innovation Department (AIT) at UMPSA is hosting an exciting and hands-on training workshop titled Develop Your First IoT System. The event, scheduled for October 4-5, 2024, will provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to create their very own Internet of Things (IoT) systems from the ground up.

The two-day workshop, aimed at individuals with a keen interest in technology and innovation, will cover a wide range of IoT concepts. Attendees will be guided through the process of developing basic IoT systems using various hardware and software components, including sensors, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.

This training is ideal for those looking to enter the rapidly growing field of IoT. Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from experts in the field, gaining invaluable experience in building, testing, and deploying their first IoT solutions.

With only 15 spots available, the training promises an interactive and in-depth learning experience. Participants will benefit from hands-on exercises, collaborative discussions, and direct mentorship from AIT’s team of specialists. Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will leave with the ability to develop simple IoT systems and a deeper understanding of the potential applications of IoT in various industries.

Training on LC Resonant-Based Iron-Cross Evaluation Using LabVIEW Held at AIT, UMPSA

24-25 July 2024 | Centre for Advanced Industrial Technology Research and Innovation Department (AIT), UMPSA

The Centre for Advanced Industrial Technology Research and Innovation Department (AIT) at UMPSA successfully conducted a specialized two-day training program on LC Resonant-Based Iron-Cross Evaluation Using LabVIEW on the 24th and 25th of July 2024. The training aimed to provide participants with the technical skills and insights necessary to effectively use LabVIEW software for evaluating the performance of LC resonant circuits in an industrial setting.

A total of eight participants from Vacuumschmelze (M) Sdn. Bhd. attended the session, which was designed to enhance their understanding of LC circuits and resonant systems, as well as how to apply LabVIEW's versatile features for data acquisition, analysis, and system monitoring.

Over the course of the training, attendees explored the key concepts behind resonant circuits, the importance of iron-core materials, and how these systems are evaluated using LabVIEW. Practical demonstrations allowed participants to develop hands-on experience in setting up and analyzing circuits, performing real-time evaluations, and interpreting data to optimize performance in various industrial applications.

The session was delivered by AIT's team of experts who provided detailed insights into both the theoretical and practical aspects of the evaluation process, ensuring that participants left with a deeper understanding of the technology and its potential uses in the industry.
